Fertility Treatment can take a toll on your mental health and wellbeing. We have included a list of services and resources below that may help during treatment. We do provide counselling services. Please get in touch with he nursing team if you would like to avail of this service.
Grounding Technique- 5-4-3-2-1 Calming Technique There are 5 steps to take to help create progress towards finding symptom reduction and/or relief. Taking these 5 steps might not be overnight magic but can significantly help reduce symptoms of anxiety, trauma triggers, and other unwanted emotions or thoughts.

SilverCloud Health online CBT
Online CBT also works well to help manage mental health and wellbeing.
The HSE have partnered with SilverCloud Health to provide internet-based Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (iCBT). It is delivered by clinical staff and can be effective for people with anxiety or depression. The service is for people over the age of 18 and each programme runs for up to 8 weeks.
National Infertility Support and Information Group- they hold support groups and meetings for those going through fertility treatment
Pieta House- Pieta provides a free, therapeutic approach to people who are in suicidal distress and those who engage in self-harm. Free 24 Hour Support.
Aware- Aware is a voluntary organisation based in Ireland which aims to assist people affected by depression, bipolar disorder and related mood conditions.
Miscarriage association of Ireland- The Association is a registered charity set up by and run with the support of women and men who themselves have experienced the loss of a baby through miscarriage. We offer telephone and email support to bereaved parents. In addition, we hold monthly support group meetings, organise an annual service of remembrance, keep books of remembrance, and place memorial stones throughout the country. We also widely distribute our information books and use our website and Facebook page to provide a wide variety of information.
Ectopic Ireland- Support and information for all who have been affected by ectopic pregnancy
50808 - Crisis Text Line- 50808 is a free, anonymous, 24/7 messaging service providing everything from a calming chat to immediate support. 50808 provides a safe space where you’re listened to by a trained Volunteer. You’ll message back and forth, only sharing what you feel comfortable with.
