Karen enjoys getting to know her patients and tries her best to make the journey as stress free as possible.

Karen Ferguson graduated from Queens University in 2015 where she studied general nursing. She then moved to Newcastle-Upon-Tyne and worked as a general nurse. Karen started to become interested in women’s health and decided to train in a fertility clinic in Newcastle in 2016. She was then made a senior nurse in 2019. Karen joined the Sims team in Dublin as a Nurse Manager in 2020. Karen also received a fertility ultrasound graduate certificate from University College Dublin.

Karen enjoys getting to know her patients and tries her best to make the journey as stress-free as possible. She also has a special interest in fertility preservation and the importance of emotional support during treatment. Karen was promoted to Group Director of Nursing and Clinical Services in February 2023.
