Dr. Carolina’s professional journey began with a medical degree and an OB/GYN speciality in two well-recognised medical schools in her country of origin, Venezuela, and one of the largest maternity units in Latin America, Maternidad Concepcion Palacios. In 2008, Dr. Tovar also specialised in reproductive medicine back in a well-known fertility unit in Caracas. She gained experience in a pioneer fertility clinic in Spain, being the medical lead of one of the Instituto Bernabeu’s headquarters in Cartagena, Murcia. After ten years in Spain, Dr. Tovar came to Ireland in 2020, where she had the opportunity to integrate her experience within the Irish medical reproductive care.
After working in this field in three different countries, Dr. Carolina has had the privilege of working with a diverse patient population, guiding them through the complexities of fertility treatment with a compassionate, evidence-based approach. She is passionate about giving the patients the best quality of care with a friendly, honest and close approach.
