The journey will start with an initial consultation with one of our highly skilled doctors in either Swords, Cork, or Clonskeagh. Bloods and scans are then taken depending on the individual to test things such a AMH levels and their ovarian reserve. Based on those results, your doctor will create a personalised plan to start you on your journey. You will be provided with hormone injections to stimulate the ovaries to encourage the ovaries to product multiple eggs. During this time, you will still have scans to see how things are going. Once the doctors are happy with the results from the hormone injections, the egg retrieving process would be the next step. One of our doctors carefully retrieves the eggs through a quick and minimally invasive procedure under general anaesthetic. 

Our team of embryologist will review the samples retrieved at the egg collection to search for any viable eggs. Once the viable eggs are selected, the eggs are then frozen and safely stored, ready for you to decide when the right time to use them is. When you’re ready to start a family, the eggs can be thawed and fertilised through in vitro fertilisation (IVF), offering you the chance to conceive years later.
